I drew this when I was 17 and mailed it out as a submission to different comic book publishers. But it was 1998, and little did I know that comics weren’t what they were back in 1994.
For fun, I went back and gave 18 year old Sean a critique. Usually when I look at crappy samples at shows, I have to hold back. The way I write to 18 year old Sean is how I wish I could speak to people who hand me bad submissions. Believe it or not people, I do have a filter.
I hope you laugh. I certainly did. And no, I didn’t hear back from a single editor about these pages. Maybe I should submit them again.
